The Hague, The Netherlands, 3rd March 2016
The progress of the Big Data Europe (BDE) Project was presented at the Small Big Data Value Association (BDVA) Summit by Dr. Simon Scerri, Project Deputy Coordinator at Fraunhofer IAIS, which is a Founding Member of the Big Data Value Association (BDVA). The presentation took place in a joint session with the BYTE Project.
The first part presented the requirement elicitation activities, and in particular the Big Data Europe survey results (which was supported by BDVA). In the second part, the plans for each of the seven pilots (corresponding to the seven societal challenge domains) were presented. A number of questions related to project management, objectives and technical plans were answered, and further contacts were made in the networking session.
