Our aim for this workshop is to highlight progress from the BigDataEurope project in building the foundations of a generically applicable big data platform which can be applied across all Horizon2020 societal sectors. This workshop will focus on health, and showcase our first pilot applied to early bioscience research data.
Health is a large domain with a large number of academic, private and global entities operating in this space. For this our second workshop, one of the key discussions will be how we can expand the use of the generic BigDataEurope data platform in healthcare, identify other stakeholders and activities who could benefit from engagement in the development of future pilots.
Our aim is to get the perspective of participants on how we may use the appropriate H2020 instruments and work programmes to better integrate the ecosystem of linked data repositories, data management services and virtual collaboration environments to increase the pace of knowledge sharing in health. Key to this is to forge stronger connections, more sharing, pre-competitive innovation, and better alignment of the public and private sector.
This workshop will take place in Brussels on December 9th, please see our events section or click here to jump to the page.
