Big Data Europe: 3rd Workshop on Big Data in Health
December 13, 2017 @ 11:00 - 15:00
FreeWe are excited to announce that our third workshop in the domain of Societal Challenge 1 (Health, Demographic Change and Wellbeing) will be held on Wednesday, 13 December in Brussels, Belgium.
In this final workshop we’ll be looking back at everything we’ve achieved over the course of the Big Data Europe project to advance big data in health – and looking forward at what exciting new applications of the BDE Big Data Integrator may be possible in this domain.
Join us to see how our pilot project uses the BDI platform to integrate heterogeneous early bioscience research data and reduce bottlenecks to drug discovery, as well as to learn how the flexibility of the BDI infrastructure enables it to be used for many, many more applications across the entire big data landscape. Guest speakers will include Michaela Black, coordinator of the MIDAS project, and Supriyo Chatterjea, representing the upcoming BigMedilytics project. We aim to have a lively discussion about how big data will continue to impact and benefit the health sector.
